This Privacy Policy describes how GymStreak Labs ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the No Enemies mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Account information: Email address, display name, and authentication credentials (when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email + password).

Onboarding answers: Your responses to the conflict quiz, your self-identified primary conflict type, preferred check-in time, intensity, duration, and personal intention.

Daily reflection content: Mood selections, morning intentions, evening reflection answers, dimension ratings, and any free-form text you enter.

Journal entries: Titles, body text, bookmark state, and word counts of entries you write.

Voice recordings: When you use the voice journal feature, we capture short audio recordings via your device microphone. Recordings are transcribed into text and, depending on your settings, may be stored for playback.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.

Usage data: Features used, session duration, and basic diagnostic information.

Purchase information: Subscription status and transaction identifiers (processed via Apple and Google — we do not store payment card details).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features

Generate personalised prompts and reflections via the AI mentor

Transcribe your voice recordings into text you can search and edit

Calculate streaks, peace vs. war ratios, character evolution stages, and other progression indicators

Process and manage your subscription via RevenueCat and the relevant app store

Send notification reminders (morning / evening check-ins) with your permission

Diagnose bugs and improve App performance

Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Services

No Enemies uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

AI Processing

When you use the AI mentor, or when we transcribe a voice recording, the relevant text or audio is sent to Google's generative AI services (operated by Google LLC) for processing on our behalf. Per Google's Firebase AI Logic terms, input and output data is not used to train Google's models.

4. Subscription Data

No Enemies is a subscription-based app. Access to the AI mentor, voice journal, morning and evening check-ins, character evolution, and Book of Peace requires an active subscription. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat and validated against the Apple App Store or Google Play. We retain a record of your entitlement status to control access to premium features.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your account and content are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, and optionally Firebase Storage for voice audio), hosted in secure Google Cloud data centers in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS) and Firebase Security Rules to restrict access so that each user can only read or write their own data.

No security system is impenetrable — we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your account credentials private.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual journal entries or check-ins at any time from within the App. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Voice audio recordings, when stored, can be removed individually by deleting the corresponding journal entry, or disabled globally via the "Save audio with voice entries" setting.

7. Children's Privacy

No Enemies is not directed at children under the age of 13, and some content (including the conflict archetypes and mature reflection themes) is intended for older audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (you can also delete your account from within the App).

Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.

Objection / Restriction: Object to, or request restriction of, certain processing.

Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

9. Wellness Disclaimer

No Enemies is a personal reflection and journaling app. It is not a medical device, not a therapy service, and not a substitute for professional mental-health care. If you are in crisis or need professional support, please contact a qualified health-care provider or your local emergency services.

10. International Users

If you are located outside the United States, please note that your data may be transferred to and stored in the United States where our servers and Firebase infrastructure are located. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will indicate when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be communicated in-app.
