GymStreak Labs ("we," "our," or "us") operates the SleepLog mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use SleepLog.

SleepLog is built privacy-first. All your sleep data is stored exclusively on your device and never leaves it. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers.

We do not collect:

  • Sleep recordings or audio clips

  • Sleep scores, session history, or analytics

  • Location data

  • Device identifiers or usage analytics

    3. Data Stored on Your Device

    SleepLog stores the following data locally on your device only:

  • Sleep sessions — start/end times, quality scores, and detected sound events

  • Sleep goals — your target bedtime, wake time, and duration preferences

  • Audio clips — optional short recordings stored in your device's local storage

  • App preferences — settings such as bedtime reminder toggles and thresholds

    • This data is stored in your device's Documents directory and is never transmitted anywhere.

    4. Microphone Access

    SleepLog requests access to your device's microphone solely to detect sounds during sleep tracking (e.g., snoring, coughing).

  • Audio is processed in real time on your device

  • No audio is streamed or uploaded to any server

  • Optional short audio clips are saved locally only, and you can delete them at any time within the App

    5. Notifications

    If you enable Bedtime Reminders, SleepLog uses Apple's local notification system to schedule reminders. These are processed entirely on your device — no notification data is sent to our servers.

    SleepLog does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not share your data with any third parties.

    7. Children's Privacy

    SleepLog is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Since all data is stored locally on your device, no personal information is collected from any user, including children.

    8. Data Retention & Deletion

    Your sleep data remains on your device until you delete it. You can delete all data at any time via Profile → Debug → Clear All Data, or by uninstalling the App.

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
